José-Manuel A. de Castro

José-Manuel is a consummate business and employment litigator. His experience and expertise runs the gamut of business disputes, including all manner of labor and employment disputes. He has particular experience seeking, and opposing efforts to seek, provisional relief in connection with such disputes and defending multiparty, representative, and class actions at both the trial and appellate levels.

Just as important as litigating fully ripened disputes, and perhaps even more so, José-Manuel also regularly counsels clients in the development of strategies to avoid litigation and minimize legal exposure from various types of business disputes. He routinely provides counsel in this regard concerning employment law and personnel matters, labor law compliance, and trade secret protections.

Prior to founding DLG in 2007, José-Manuel was in practice as a business and employment litigator for over a decade at large national law firms in New York and Los Angeles.

José-Manuel is a graduate of New York University School of Law and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. He is admitted to practice in the state courts of New York and California as well as several United States District Courts and Courts of Appeal.

David G. Larmore

David Larmore has extensive experience in all aspects of civil litigation at the trial and appellate level, as well in various alternative dispute resolution forums including mediation and arbitration. Over the course of his career, he has handled all kinds of disputes, including commercial contract litigation, professional liability claims, employment disputes, product liability cases involving medical and non-medical materials, probate disputes, and securities disputes to name a few. He has also counseled clients in countless non-litigation matters.

Mr. Larmore graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 1988 and received his J.D. from the same institution in 1991. He also has an LL.M. in taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center and has a particular expertise in state and local tax controversy. He is admitted to practice law in Illinois and California, as well as before numerous federal District Courts and Courts of Appeal, and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Larmore has served as a volunteer attorney for Lawyers for the Creative Arts and as a board member of Theatre Tribe in North Hollywood, California, where he has counseled artists and filmmakers on various intellectual property issues.

Lori V. Minassian

Lori joined DLG in 2010, bringing with her significant litigation experience in a broad range of commercial matters in both state and federal court. Lori is experienced in all phases of litigation, including management of complex multi-party actions, court trials, arbitrations, and mediations.

Over the course of her legal career, Lori has handled a wide variety of complex commercial, employment and intellectual property disputes in areas including, partnership dissolution, banking law, consumer fraud, workplace discrimination and harassment, wage and hour, unfair competition, trade secret misappropriation, and patent, trademark, and copyright infringement. Prior to joining DLG, Lori was in practice for eight years as a business and intellectual property litigator at a large national law firm.

Lori is a graduate of the University of Southern California (B.A., political science and philosophy, magna cum laude, J.D.). While at the University of Southern California Law School, she was a member of the Interdisciplinary Law Journal. She also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Dickran Tevrizian (ret.), in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Lori is licensed to practice in the California state courts, as well as various United States District Courts and Courts of Appeal.

Lori is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Los Angeles County, American and Armenian Bar Associations. She is fluent in the Armenian language, and is also an active member of the Arpa Foundation for Film, Music and Art.
